Red Hots Applesauce Jell-O ‘Salad’

Ingredients ~

• 1 cup hot water
• 2/3 cup Red Hots candy
• 1 3-ounce package Lemon Jell-O
• 1 ½ cup applesauce
• 1 8 ounce package cream cheese
• ½ cup salad dressing
• ½ cup celery, diced
• 1 ½ cups walnuts, chopped

Method –

Pour hot water over the candies and the Jell-o.  Stir to dissolve.  Add the applesauce and the rest of the ingredients.  Pour into a serving bowl or an 8×8 pan to set.
