Holden Village Aggkaka

Holden Village

Ingredients ~

  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method ~  

Put 2 tablespoon butter into 9 x 9 inch baking pan, and melt in 425 degree oven.  Make batter by beating 3 eggs and stirring in 2 cups milk, 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoon sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.  Pour the batter into the pan when the butter is hot.  Bake 20-25 minutes or until the aggkaka has risen and is lightly browned.

Aggkaka “falls” when it is removed from the oven and cools, so pull everyone into the kitchen to see it in all its glory!

Let “fall” before serving. Serve with syrup, jam, or berries.
