Wassail 1

Ingredients ~

  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1 quart pineapple juice (not from concentrate)
  • 1 6 ounce can frozen orange juice
  • 8 cinnamon sticks
  • 27 whole cloves

Method ~

Mix all ingredients and heat in a crock pot or on the stove on low heat.  May add orange or pineapple slices on top, and enjoy!


Iced Coffee

It’s time. It’s Mother’s Day weekend, the Red-Winged Blackbirds are back, I’ve got the umbrella over the outdoor dining table open, it’s above 60 degrees, and the pond is clean and now running. It’s time for this…

Ingredients ~

  • 1 pot double strength coffee
  •  ¼ cup sugar
  • Half & Half (plain)
  • Flavored Carnation Creamer

Method ~

Brew a pot of double strength coffee.  Add sugar to the coffee when hot.  Refrigerate until completely cooled.  Add creamers to color and flavor preference.
