Candied Sweets

Ingredients ~  

  • 1 can of sweet potatoes, drained, reserving 1 Tablespoon liquid
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tablespoon juice from sweet potatoes
  • ½ cup Karo light Corn Syrup

Method ~

Combine the butter, sugar, juice from the sweet potatoes and the corn syrup in a pan.  Heat until the mixture is thickened.  Add drained sweet potatoes and simmer on low heat until ready to serve.
